1. Applicant Eligibility
To qualify for consideration, you must:
Be an individual, business, or organization legally permitted to operate in Ghana
Provide a valid Ghana Card (individuals) or company registration documents (businesses)
Demonstrate readiness to operate the machine as a business asset
Agree to comply with all VG Smartvend operational and usage guidelines
2. Location Requirements (Mandatory)
Location is a critical factor in approval.
You must have:
A clearly identified proposed location before enquiry submission
High foot traffic is strongly required, such as:
Shopping malls and supermarkets
Universities, schools, and hostels
Hospitals and clinics
Offices and corporate buildings
Gyms, transport hubs, and commercial centres
Permission from the property owner or facility management to install the machine
Adequate space for:
The machine footprint
Safe customer access
Clear visibility
Placement must be:
Indoors or in a sheltered outdoor area
Protected from rain, direct sunlight, and vandalism
VG Smartvend reserves the right to assess and approve locations before installation.
3. Power Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
All Smartvend machines require a reliable power source.
You must provide:
Stable electricity supply (220–240V standard power outlet)
A dedicated power point close to the installation area
Backup power is strongly recommended, such as:
UPS
Inverter system
Locations with frequent power outages may require additional power solutions before approval.
4. Internet & Network Connectivity
Smart vending machines rely on connectivity for operations.
Requirements include:
Reliable mobile network coverage at the installation site
Internet connection via:
SIM-based data (4G/5G), or
Wi-Fi (depending on machine model)
Ability to maintain active data service for real-time monitoring, payments, and inventory tracking
5. Product & Stocking Responsibilities
Machine owners are responsible for day-to-day operations.
Before approval, you must acknowledge that:
You are responsible for:
Selecting approved product categories
Stocking and restocking inventory
Products must:
Be safe for consumption or use
Meet Ghana FDA requirements (for food and beverages)
Be within valid expiry dates
VG Smartvend may provide product recommendations or supplier guidance where applicable
6. Payment & Transaction Setup
To process sales, you must:
Provide an active Mobile Money or bank account
Agree to VG Smartvend transaction and payment processing terms
Understand any applicable service fees or commissions (where applicable)
7. Security & Safety Obligations
For approval, the installation environment must:
Be secure and monitored
Have CCTV coverage where possible (strongly recommended)
Allow for machine anchoring or locking mechanisms
Not obstruct walkways, entrances, or emergency exits
8. Maintenance & Care Responsibilities
Applicants must understand that:
VG Smartvend handles:
Installation
Initial setup
User training
Technical support based on the selected service plan
Machine owners are responsible for:
Basic daily checks
Cleanliness
Preventing misuse
Damage due to negligence, vandalism, or improper handling may be charged to the owner
9. Financial Readiness
Before approval, you must be financially prepared to cover:
Machine acquisition or lease costs
Initial product stock
Ongoing electricity and internet costs
Routine operational expenses
Smart vending should be approached as a medium- to long-term business investment, not a quick-return venture.
10. Final Approval Notice
Submission of an enquiry does not guarantee approval.
VG Smartvend reviews all applications based on:
Location suitability
Infrastructure readiness
Compliance with operational standards
Overall viability of the proposed setup
Applicants who meet all requirements will be contacted to proceed to the next stage.
